Troubleshooting: Adding the Pico Browser and Pico Business Store to Your ManageXR Home Screen

In some cases, it's possible that you won't be able to see the Pico Browser and Pico Business Store from the native Pico menus. To access these apps, you'll want to add them to your ManageXR Home Screen as External apps.

First, locate the PUI (firmware) version of your device. This can be found on the device list page.

Or, from the device list, click on a device and look at the bottom right of the Device Information page.

Now that you've obtained your PUI version copy the package name of the app you wish to deploy:

Pico Browser

PUI 4 - com.pico.browser

PUI 5 - com.pico.browser.overseas

Pico Business Store

PUI 4 - com.picovr.store

PUI 5 - com.picoxr.tobstore

Now that you have the package name copied, it's time to create the External App in ManageXR:

  1. Select the VR Content tab

  2. Add Content

  3. External

  4. Add a title for the app and paste the package name into the package name box

  5. Click Create

The external app has now been added to your VR Content library! Let's add this new store app to a configuration:

  • Navigate to your Configurations tab and select a configuration.

  • Click Deploy on your newly added app in the App Library section and save the changes.
