ManageXR allows you to fully customize your device experience. One of the ultimate customization options available is using your own custom 3D environment.

To create and upload your own 3D environment, follow these steps:

Step 1: Create your environment file

You can easily port a 3D environment from Unity to use in ManageXR using our 3D Environment SDK.

Use the SDK to:

  • Create a 3D environment

  • Position the user and home screen menus within the environment

  • Export your environment in the correct format ( .mxrus file extension)

  • Validate your environment and optimize its size

Go to the 3D Environment SDK Documentation to learn more.

Step 2: Upload your 3D environment

  1. Go to your Configuration

  2. Click Device Experience

  3. Scroll down to Logo & Background

  4. Select 3D environment

  5. Drag and Drop your file to upload your custom environment

  6. Give it a nickname - you'll be able to use this file on other configurations without re-uploading it!

  7. Click Upload

  8. Save Changes on your configuration to push it to your devices
