The USB Screencasting tool casts the display without sound. To cast with sound, you must use the device's native casting feature.
I'm getting a connection error. How do I resolve it?
I'm getting a connection error. How do I resolve it?
The USB Screencasting Tool uses the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) to operate. This connection error indicates that another program is using the ADB to communicate with your device, preventing the ManageXR USB Screencasting Tool from working.
Examples of programs that use the ADB and could cause this error include, but are not limited to: Oculus Developer Hub, SideQuest, Android File Transfer, Android Studio and the ManageXR Device Setup Tool.
Troubleshooting steps:
Close other tabs of the ManageXR USB Screencasting Tool
If you use ADB directly, kill your ADB server by running this terminal command: ‘adb kill-server’
For MAC users, terminate the ADB through your activity monitor
Use Finder to search for "activity monitor"
enter "adb" into search bar
"Quit" adb activity
