WebXR Links [video tutorial]

Video tutorial showing how to set up and deploy WebXR links in ManageXR

Written by Westley Heagy

WebXR Links allow you to add web-based XR experiences to your ManageXR home screen, so users can launch them just like a native app β€” no sideloading required.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • The URL must point to a WebXR-compatible experience

  • Headsets need a stable internet connection to load the experience

  • WebXR links open in a browser on the headset (such as Wolvic), not as a standalone app

Using Quest devices? WebXR links behave differently on Meta Quest hardware depending on which browser you choose. Learn how to configure your browser settings for Quest devices
