Overview
The ManageXR Network Connectivity Test helps verify that your network can reach all required endpoints used by the ManageXR platform and hardware manufacturers. If any tests fail, your firewall or content filtering system may be blocking essential services, which can result in headset connection issues, device provisioning failures, or incomplete management capabilities.

When to Use
The Network Connectivity Test is a handy tool for validating networks and identifying issues as early as possible. If you identify blocked endpoints, you'll need to engage your network admin to help unblock them.
We recommend using it when you are:
Setting devices up on a new network
Troubleshooting connectivity issues
Preparing your environment before mass deployment
Ensuring school or enterprise firewalls aren't blocking services
How to Run the Test
Connect your computer to the same Wi-Fi network that your headsets will use.
Review the results:
All core and device-specific services should show ✅ “Success”
If any services fail, click the dropdown to view the exact endpoint(s) that were blocked.
In-Headset Testing
Occasionally, specific devices are treated differently by networks than others. So, there may be variance between what endpoints show as passing on your laptop vs. on a VR headset. For the most accurate testing experience, we recommend running the network test through your browser in-headset.
If your headset is already enrolled in ManageXR, you can deploy the network test as a WebXR link. If not, open the browser in-headset and go to https://console.managexr.com/network-test.
What If a Test Fails?
If any endpoints fail:
Share the full test results with your IT/network administrator
Ask them to allow the blocked domains through your firewall or filtering system
Re-run the test afterward to confirm resolution
