How to Start a Horizon Managed Services Subscription

A Meta Horizon Managed Services subscription is required to enroll Meta Quest devices on ManageXR

To enroll a Meta Quest device on ManageXR, you will need a Horizon managed services (HMS) account and an active MHMS subscription for each device.

Setting up a Horizon Managed Services Account

Let’s create a HMS account for your organization! You’ll only need to do this once, and you’ll be able to add team members to your account once it has been created.

  • Click Sign up as a work customer or Sign up as an education customer.

  • Select your country, then click Get started.

  • Enter your work email address, then click Continue.

  • Meta will send a confirmation code to your email. Enter this code in the Verification code box and click Verify.

    • If your organization has already set up Admin Center, then at this point you’ll be prompted to request access and you won’t be able to continue until your organization’s account administrator invites you.

  • Enter your details, including your name, date of birth and a password. Click Continue.

  • Enter information about your organization. Agree to the Meta for Work Terms of Service, then click Continue.

  • Choose a subscription method.

    • Select Subscribe with Meta directly if you're trying to get started right away. Select Subscribe through a reseller if you already have a reseller that you're working with and they've instructed you to create your account this way.

  • Choose your security method to set up two-factor authentication, then click Next and follow on-screen instructions.

And that’s it! Your account is all set up.
