Use the shortcut menu with ManageXR's Home Screen or Kiosk Mode to give end-users quick access to key settings. Customize the look and feel of the menu by applying your own branding, background, and color scheme.

The shortcut menu is exclusively available for organizations that are subscribed to the Premium billing tier.

Kiosk App and Kiosk Video

Why would I use the Shortcut Menu with Kiosk Mode?

Kiosk Mode locks users into an application or video for a laser-focused XR experience. Kiosk Mode makes XR radically simple by blocking access to all other files, content, and settings on the device. However, sometimes, you may need to give users access to settings while they're kiosked into an app. For example, a user might need to adjust their play boundary in order to get the most out of your app. With the shortcut menu, key settings like this are one click away.

Home Screen

Why would I use the Shortcut Menu with the ManageXR Home Screen?

Even while using the ManageXR Home Screen, the shortcut menu can be a handy option. The menu allows users to adjust settings swiftly with minimal disruption to their experience. It also provides an easy way to restart an application.

The shortcut menu may be particularly useful if your end-users are new to extended reality technology. New users may be unfamiliar with the hardware, making them more prone to accidental exits. The shortcut menu provides cushioning for these learners: instead of being sent back to the Home Screen if they accidentally press the Home Button, they can smoothly return to their current application.

  • ManageXR Legacy devices will have the original ManageXR shortcut menu:

  • Devices enrolled through Meta Quest for Business will have a shortcut menu designed by Meta:

In this shortcut menu, you will be able to:
