⚠️ Though all blocking issues have been fixed, users still may experience the following known issues. We will continue to monitor and work on improvements to address these issues. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you are experiencing any blocking issues on v60!

Native Quest keyboard must be launched twice in certain apps
The first time users attempt to open the native Quest keyboard (usually by clicking an input field in your app), it may fail to open on the first attempt. When this happens, the screen will flicker. The next attempt will work.
We identified several isolated issues related to Meta Quest firmware v60. The issues below only impact some deployments. Known issues and workarounds:
Issue #1
Application permission popups do not appear in the ManageXR home screen or kiosk mode, causing apps not to launch and getting stuck in a limbo state.
Workarounds:
For Managed apps (apps you've uploaded)–checking the "Automatically grant any device permissions" box in your configuration settings should fix this while we're working toward a long-term fix.
For External apps (store apps):
Exit ManageXR. Instructions on how to do that here
Launch the app from the native device menus
Accept all permission popups and exit the app
Launch MXR home from the "for work" section of your app filtering list. Here's a video on how to do that
Launch the external app from the ManageXR home screen.
Issue #2
Meta Quest keyboard does not appear in apps that utilize the native keyboard
Workarounds:
Exit ManageXR. Instructions on how to do that here
Launch the app from the native device menus. The native keyboard will work as intended.
Issue #3
USB connection issues when using home screen or kiosk mode. When a v60 Quest device is connected to a computer, the "USB detected. Click on this notification to allow connected device to access files" popup intermittently appears. If it appears, it isn't clickable. When you plug a device into a computer when in the home screen, you're stuck in a passthrough and can still launch invisible apps from the home screen; unplugging your device will put you back in the ManageXR home screen or kiosk mode.
Workarounds:
Exit ManageXR. Instructions on how to do that here
Plug the device into your computer
Complete desired USB tasks
Launch MXR home from the "for work" section of your app filtering list. Here's a video on how to do that.
Issue #4
WebXR links don't work as intended while using the native Meta Quest browser + ManageXR.
Workarounds:
Set the Wolvic browser as your default method for launching WebXR links. Learn more
Recommendations
If you have devices on a firmware version below v60 and any of these issues could cause problems for your deployment, we recommend Disabling firmware updates on Quest devices until we've pushed a fix. Toggling "Disable Firmware Updates" on your configuration will keep all devices in a configuration on their current firmware versions and prevent them from automatically updating.
💡If you’d like to disable firmware updates across your entire organization or multiple organizations, we can help! Reach out using the chat bubble in the bottom right of your screen or by contacting support@managexr.com.
